Accessibility Statement
The Sächsische Agentur für Strukturentwicklung GmbH is committed to making its websites accessible in accordance with the Saxon Inclusion Act (Sächsisches Inklusionsgesetz – SächsInklusG) and the Accessible Websites Act (Barrierefreie-Websites-Gesetz – BfWebG), in conjunction with the Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung – BITV 2.0). The BfWebG is supplemented by the Accessible Websites Regulation (Barrierefreie-Websites-Verordnung – BfWebVO). These laws are consistent with Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
This accessibility statement applies to website https://sas-sachsen.de.
Compliance Status
The website is largely compliant with the requirements of the Accessible Websites Act (BfWebG) of 10 April 2019. The continuous improvement of accessibility is ensured through ongoing editorial maintenance and technical development. Adjustments will be implemented in accordance with applicable EU accessibility standards.
Known Accessibility Limitations
Colours and contrast
A high-contrast version is available and can be activated via the “Increase contrast” switch.
Non-accessible content
- Not all PDF documents comply with ISO/DIN 14289-1 (PDF/UA).
- The integrated map application is a third-party product embedded via IFRAME and is therefore not fully accessible. A new, more accessible solution is currently in development.
- Images from the Social Wall may lack alternative texts because the content is imported automatically from social networks.
- News articles published before 2024 may contain missing alternative texts.
- Embedded YouTube videos do not consistently provide audio descriptions.
- Foreign-language content is currently not fully accessible. Certain accessibility measures (such as complete alternative texts, structural markup or regularly updated content) are implemented in full only on the German pages. Foreign-language versions may therefore offer reduced accessibility. A gradual improvement of the non-German content is planned.
Accessibility Features Provided
To support accessibility, the website offers the following features:
- Pause motion
- High-contrast mode
- Read-aloud function
